Boat Hire
Boats available to hire include; canoes, rowing boats and KataKanu’s (pictures below).

You can find us in the ticket office on the lakeside opposite the adventure golf course.
Opening Information
Open until 4th October 2026
10.30am-7pm daily (last hire before 6pm) weather dependant. Call us or check our Facebook page to ensure we are open when you wish to visit.
We have buoyancy aids available for everyone. Children need to fit safely into one of our buoyancy aids, we recommend this is from age 3+. No under 18 year olds will be permitted onto the lake without a parent or guardian present. Further details available at the kiosk.

PRICES
Per hour: £7 for adults, £6 for juniors.
Dog Friendly
Dogs are allowed on our boats, provided they are not tied to them.
KataKanu – Super stable 6 person boat
Canoe – For 2 or 3 people, our most unstable option
Row Boat – 2-3 people, one rower and a passenger (or two)
About Us
Highfields Park has a long relationship with providing boat hire in Nottingham, and has provided great opportunities for many years. We have been operating at the lake since 2018.
